What does it mean for us to be in synergy with local nature, the health of our soil and plastic pollution?

As part of the ecology of the planet, we can indirectly practice biomimicry like some recycling animals from the bird kingdom and sea world. Read an article about this HERE.
And, what is Biomimicry? If you are unsure, there will be more on this later!
Taking care of our local green spaces looks like glocal citizenship, i.e global and local stewardship of the planet and our local area simultaneously .
Taking care can mean
ensuring we put litter in the rubbish bins, so that the soil remains free from plastic thrown on the ground or in bushes
litter picking with a local litter picking volunteering groups
encouraging others to be aware of how they throw away their plastic waste
Plastic that gets into the soil, impacts the mini-eco systems that live there, such as bugs, lady birds, snails, worms, which children enjoy as features of local nature. On top of that, we all enjoy a litter free and brightly verdant and colourful local green space.
Let’s beat plastic pollution by being mindful of how we dispose of single use plastics such a water bottles, take-away containers and household cleaning products.
Glocal citizenship starts small with big impact!
